A Sustainable Summer Story Told Through Timeless Fashion

In June 2025, I had the privilege of photographing the Summer Look Book for Supernatural, Saratoga Springs’ destination boutique for conscious fashion lovers. Known for curating only sustainable and ethical fashion brands, Supernatural blends effortless style with environmental responsibility. This shoot brought their Summer 2025 collection to life through nostalgic textures, elevated silhouettes, and candid moments in and around the historic charm of downtown Saratoga.

From editorial storytelling to lifestyle branding, every frame was designed to align with Supernatural’s mission: fashion that feels good—and does good.

The Visual Language of Sustainability

We leaned into 35mm-inspired softness and natural light to capture the authenticity of each garment. Featuring bold color blocking, romantic whites, and vintage-inspired stripes, the looks were styled to move organically through both urban and nature-forward backdrops.

Key scenes included:

  • A linen halter maxi styled with stacked gold rings and retro shades, contrasted against brick textures and foliage

  • A color-blocked silk slip styled with minimalist black heels and a sculptural circular bag for a modern-retro city edge

  • A crisp white prairie dress captured strolling through a garden wall, baguette in tote—a nod to slow living and intentional beauty

  • A Western-inspired red striped sundress shot inside a cigar lounge with vintage boots and a newspaper, fusing femininity with edge
